Boots Beauty Advent Calender!

For all you beauty lovers this is what you need this Christmas and at a more affordable price why not? I have seen beauty calenders for around £120 and have never wanted to spend that much but for £30 how could you resist?

There are amazing brands which could come up in the advent calender such as Soap & Glory, Nails Inc, Paca Rabanne, Juicy Couture, Rimmel, Mavala, Umbreto Giannini and more!
I like the fact for a cheaper calender there are still higher end brands mentioned. I don't actually know whether it is any good until I start opening it but I have high hopes! I am SOOOO excited to start this calender as it is a little treat everyday! Now who wouldn't want that?!

Top Four Current Fragrances!

My TOP 4 current fragrances!

So I just wanted to talk about my favourite fragrances and why I like them! As you can see two of them aren't actually perfumes but they smell sooo good! They are both from Victorias Secret however they are two completely different fragrances. The first one you can see is called PINK Fresh & Clean which is exactly what it smells like (and a little fruity) however as this is a sweeter scent therefore it's more of a summer scent for me! I would recommend this to younger people (teenagers) as it's more of a  fun and girly scent than a mature scent.

Next up is the PINK Warm & Cosy scent which is by far my favourite out of the two however this would depend on whether you like vanillary scents or not.. yes I just said vanillary! I never thought I would until I smelt this! However fragrances are definitely down to taste because my mum absolutely hates it when I wear this fragrance as she hates vanilla. This is my current go to Autumn fragrance and can't wait to use it throughout the colder months! These two fragrances were 2 for £18 and can be purchased at Victoria Secret stores!

I have the lighter Jimmy Choo fragrance which I love however I do not feel it lasts as long as the darker one. However the fragrance itself is amazing and I would say it is worth the price tag! £58 per 100ml. You can get better deals on this such as buying it as a gift set or visiting websites such as http://www.cheapsmells.com/. Anyway .. back to what it smells like! This is a floral scent however it still has a sweet smell to it, these types of scents are my favourite types of scents because it doesn't make it too young for me or too mature and as I am now 18 I feel like I need to get the right balance!

My final fragrance for my favourites is the Hollister So Cal perfume! I have had so many compliments when wearing this perfume which we all like because then we know it is working! However this is definitely more of a fun, girly, sweet scent rather than a mature scent but I feel I can get away with it because I am still young! It smells exactly like the Hollister store so if you can't resist that smell every time you walk past then this is for you! Oh No! I just looked it up and I am not sure this can be purchased anymore :( Boo! but if you are interest maybe look in your local store as they might still sell it.

Well that's it for my top 4 fragrances! I hoped you liked this post, please comment if you have any requests for future posts! Love you all xx

Glossybox UK September 2013

I was so excited to receive my first ever Glossybox! I had wanted to get a monthly subscription for ages however never committed because I thought well it's just another way to 'waste' my money on something I don't NEED. Even though I don't need it I am so happy that I have subscribed as I was extremely happy with all of the products I got! This Glossybox was called 'The London Edition' so I think it made it that bit more exciting as it was themed and the packaging looked amazing.

Here you can see what the box looked like:

Inside you will always receive 5 items this could be a mixture of full sized items or sample sized items. I received a mixture 3 items being full sized and 2 of the items were sample sized. It was really nice to receive full sized items as it really added value to this box making worth the money!

Here is an image of the items I received and a bit more about each one:

  1. Elizabeth Arden perfume in UNTOLD - So far so good! I really like the perfume and would love to purchase this however due to the price I will probably stay away. The reason I really like this fragrance is because for me it is a much more mature scent rather than the sweet, fruity, girly scents however I do not feel it is too old for my age so I hope I can pull this scent off well! I haven't had any compliments however I rarely get complimented on perfumes :( (I wish I did more). I feel younger people can definitely use this scent as well as the more mature as it is a little fruity however mixed in with some floral's which I feel is perfect for day time where but also at night when you might be heading out! To buy a full size this is £48 for 50ml and £69 for 100ml.

  2. Eylure Pre Glued Lashes - All I can say is that I haven't tried these yet however the retail for £5.06 and I this was a full size product which added value to this box. Only have I once tried to use false eyelashes and that was a disaster however these ones do interest me as they are pre-glued so I wouldn't have to fuss around trying to make sure I have got enough glue on the lashes to make them stay. I think I am going to try these on Christmas day .. yes! I said Christmas.

  3. TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Classic Shine & Gloss Serum - At first I was unsure of this product however I have used a few times now and I really like it. I use it after I blow dry my hair like it says to do and I feel it does at good job at making my hair appear straighter than it already is and it gets rid of any stray hairs or frizz (smooths out my hair). However I do not feel that it adds any shine like it claims to but this doesn't bother me at all. This was another full sized item I received and this is worth £7.19 for 30ml.

  4. Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Onyx Eye Liner - This is basically a black felt tip liner which I haven't opened so I can't say too much about it. The reason I haven't opened it is because I know it is something that I am not going to use and I know that if I give to my sister she is going to use it a lot more than I ever would. Anyway I found it strange that it is an American product in a British themed box but I shouldn't complain because yet again it was a another full sized item worth $14.

  5. Dr Lipp Orginal Nipple Balm for Lips - The name of this product just gets everyone! As soon as you mention this product they start laughing or they are just like whhhaaat? This was a sample sized product and I have been very impressed with the product even though I have only been using it for a short period of time. I suffer with really dry lips and it has helped to make them feel smooth again :)! However it claims to do all wonderful things such as healing chapped lips, burns, abrasions, minor incisions, cuticles, eczema and dry skin however it also says that it can be used to mix pigments, eye glitter, shaping eyebrows and last minute shoe polish. I will definitely be purchasing the full size which retails for £11.50.
